Dear Sunday Adewale,
Dad and I discussed you again today. You remain the centre of all discussions and it is still painful and hard to bear your shocking departure. We both agreed that yours was a successful life. You did all the things you loved doing. Even on the morning of your departure - 25th February 2011, you still played football in your compound in Jos. A man of the people. You departed with family and friends around you. Not that that made it any easier to bear. Akanji, you are missed.
We are taking it one day at a time. Do you know, sometimes I think it's one of your pranks of trying to scare me like you did to me in the dark when we were kids! And that suddenly, you'll appaer with that your cheeky smile and a sound that made me scream and hit you. You must remember! You will never be forgotten.
I was looking forward to us growing old and meeting up in your house in Ogbomoso with my grandchilren and having fun. But you left the stage without any proper chance of a goodbye! It hurts so much you can feel the pain physically.
You will be so missed until we meet to part no more at the bossom of the Lord.
Love you always.
Your sister,
Grace Aderinola.
